"PINK CANDY" -12" Custom PAW! from Coarse Toys

Well, it's my first customized PAW! I made this as a gift for my wife on her birthday, and the idea for the colour scheme I got from glossy, shiny, pink candy, very sweet and also not so healthy.

international word for "NO!"

Have you ever been in a hotel room and forgot to put the "do not disturb" sign on your door? Of course at one point in the morning the housekeeping women are coming. I think word "NO!" means the same in english and spanish and I guess in a lot of other languages as well.
So my question is why do those women always pretend that they don't understand what you want from them?
Last night I forgot to put the sign on my door. But I locked it from the inside. This morning the housekeeping women tried to get in my room to do their job. I woke up by the loud noise that a locked door makes if somebody tries to open it. At this point the women should have noticed that maybe somebody is still in the room. There must be a reason why the door is looked. But instead of going to the next room and coming back later to see if the guest is still there, they start to knock on the door.
WHY?
At this point I was awake and kind of angry. So I went to the door and opened it. I saw to little women which seemed very surprised that somebody opened the door. They looked at me and in the very same moment both of them asked: "Housekeeping?"
I anwered: "No! I'll leave the room at 12."
They looked at me and as if I didn't say already NO! they asked again: "Housekeeping?"
This time I just said: "NO!"
Of course they asked again. But then I had brilliant idea. I showed them the "do not disturb" sign and put it right on my door infront of their eyes. If this is not crystal clear...I don't know.
Both of them still looked at me and asked: "No housekeeping?"
Sorry, but which part of NO! you didn't understand in the beginning? Was it the N or the O?

1930 that night

The fifth of may is a bankholiday in mexico which the americans celebrate more than the mexicans. In every bar you'll find a cinco de mayo party. So I was prepared for a night full of burritos. I know, it could be worth. But than one event crossed my burrito plan and I have to say: Thank god.

I was sitting in the office and took a few minutes to check out concerts on the internet. Guess what I found! There was a gaslight anthem concert and it started on the same day when I was locking for it. It was four pm when I was locking and the doors opend at seven pm. I freaked out and went to a colleague to share my luck. He had no idea what I was talking about. But that didn't matter to me. I called the concert place and they told me that I can still get tickets at the door. I missed the gaslight anthem in germany already and I gonna miss them again in june, when they support one of my favourite bands: Social Distortion!
I coulnd't believe my luck and after work I drove to this concert place, which was actually very cool. In the pictures you can see that I was very close to them. I was standing quite close to the stage.
There were two supports. I'm sorry that I can't remember their names. But the first one was cool. Not so the second one. They really sucked.
There is a picture from the first support and a picture with me and their singer. I met him after the concert and he was a nice guy. Also he was very surprised to meet somebody from germany on his concert in the states. Here are the pictures.

There is nothing to say about the second band. Apart from that everybody was waiting for them to finish.

The concert was one of the best concerts I've ever seen. I was so looking forward to see them since I heard them for the first time. They are really good on stage and the songs are even better than on cd. The only thing that made me sad this night was, that I was alone. I missed my wife. I can enjoy every concert even more, when I'm with her. Ok, apart from a broilers concert. But anyway that would be weird, if she would like them.

mc donalds or burger king

Hello again,

it's your personal fast food tester :-) I know, I know.... It's a hard job, but somebody has to do it.

So if you ever had a discussion with your friends about what's better: MC Donalds or Burger King. Forget about everything that you knew about burger. Both of them will lose if you compare them with Wendy's.

I came in and I felt welcome in the first moments.

You pay less than at MC Donalds and Burger King and you get better stuff. It's a pity that we don't have it in germany. Maybe we finaly would have more fat people. But even this dream is not working in germay :-)

So the meat is not frozen and just heated up. It's a fresh burger out of delicious beef. Also you have fresh onions, tomatos salat and other stuff on it. What you can see on the picture is just a normal hamburger. I couldn't finish it. There is other stuff and I guess the size of it makes you vomit. But now enjoy the pictures.

Again look at the aluminum foil of the burger. Mother nature will love it.

Tomorrow is my first day at work. Kind of excited, you can say.

first impressions

All right fellas,

now it's saturday 02.05.2009. I'm here for 2 1/2 days and I made my first impressions. Yesterday I was in the office for the first time. Everbody was very nice. They take care of me a lot. That's a pretty good thing. I was just there for a couple of hours to meet everybody. But on monday it's getting serious.

But I don't think that you are very interested in my work. So now to the real stuff. I'm living in a nice area. There are shops and fast food places in my sorrounding. Here are a few pictures.

It looks nice, no? But then I found a really goooood place. I'm not a big fan of chicken, but this place is so delicious dum dum tack.

I saw this in front of it and thought: If the law is eating here it's just right if i go there too.

So I went there and the door looked like this: When ever you see this and you are not a vegetarian, go in and have a sandwich.

The sandwich I had was so good, I can't belive it. I will go there more often from time to time. But I have to be carefull, if I get fat there is somebody how's gonna rip my ass of. But that's fine. I don't want to be a fat husband :-) Now have a look at this sandwich. You can choose between salat and fries. I took the salat, cause I like it. There was salat, tomatos, cucumbers, cheese, bacon and chicken on the sandwich. There is no sauce at all, but you can choose your sauce and put it by yourself. Oh my god, there is so much to tasted for me. Look at this:

As you might have noticed, everything is out of plastic. So my conclusion is that the americanianiens really care about environmental protection.

First time USA

Hey guys,
for those who don't know me. I just traveled today from duesseldorf to atlanta. I'm here for work and I have never been in atlanta or the rest of the states before. At the moment I'm realy tired, cause I'm awake since 22 hours. But that isn't so bad as it sounds. I'll go to bed soon and I hope that I can sleep, cause I miss my wife like hell. We just got married on the 17. of april. It was awesome. But for this you better check on the düsseldorks blog. I try to write here as much as possible during my stay. If I don't write from time to time, don't get upset with me. There'll be a reason.
There are pictures coming, too. But for today, I'll just go to bed.

custom munny 2

This is my second munny. The pink I made by spray.
For the star on it's chest I used an handmade stencil.
For the yellow I used a brush and the black is
made by pen. I really like to paint on them and
it's relaxing.
I hope you like them too and I could make you a bit
happy by showing you nice toys.

my first customized munny

A few months ago my fiance told me about kidrobot. I never saw something cool like this. We figured out that there are toys that you can customize by yourself. I was searching for something like for a very long time. So I bought a few munnys and started to paint. But it's more difficult then I thought. On the one that you can see here, I made some mistakes and also painting with a brush is not that easy. After i finished it, I put furnish over all. But if you put two or three layers of furnish on it, you should be sure that the last layer you put is totally dry. Otherwise the last layer will get little cracks (as you can see on mine). But now I should show you my work:

weirdos at the festival

area 4 2008 the end of a best summer in my life!

We met those two guys at the area 4 festival 08 in Lüdinghausen germany. It was the first weekend in september and we were so lucky with the weather, that I could wear my wifebeater all the time: AWESOME! ok, I got sunburned very bad, but that doesn't matter. On our way to the stage, we met them. I'm sorry that I can't tell you their names, cause they are from another univers and it's impossible to speak or write them with our letters. I just can say, they sound like electric guitars with a lot of distortion. They came to visit our planet to check out how our music is and where to find the good people. "By the way: a festival is not the worst place for this mission." You can imagine what we thought when we saw them. They are not very tall, as you can see on the picture. But they are very nice guys. I almost stepped on them, but of course they are protected by their cosmic energy. They asked, without speaking, where we are going and where they can find some music. They used mind contact for all the communication. It was good that we were on the way to the mainstage. We told them to follow us, but they said they can't. It would be to weird for the other humans to see two small figures, wich look like dolls, walking around at the festival. Our decision was quick. We put them in the pockets of our shirts and we gave them a freeride to the mainstage.

That was the guy we showed them at first. They loved him from the note he was singing. Just as we do. They asked if this is the 21 century digital boy. But we had to tell them that he is just a prodigal son, a modern man who came in 52 seconds from an atomic garden to the fields of mars to live the american dream and tell the blenderhead george w. bush that he's white trash in the 2. generation. After the show the singer, with the name greg graffin, walked away to the new dark ages.

That was a lot of heavy stuff for our new friends from outer space. We had to make them cool down. It was the right moment for a few beers. But there was not a lot of time for the break, cause the next band was already on stage...

In the begining of the concert they askes again who this is and they had also an idea. It was almost the right name of the band. They asked if these guys are dr. jackel and mr. hide from the einstein crew and if they are stil fazil's friends. "As I said: almost the right name". Of course our friends couldn't see serios through their black eyes in our softworld. As suddenly Leona, an airhead and punk rock rebel with vulcan ears who was standing next to us, told us to dance craze and to do the monkey boogie. We decided to leave the greener gras, cause we really wanted to stay friends to the end with the guys from outer space and leona started to turn into a bit of muslin.

first time hello to everybody. honestly i'm kind of nervous, cause i hope that people read and enjoy my posts. but that is what everybody wants for himself.

ok, why tz1 pofta buna? tz1 is my rap name. actually i don't like rap and hip-hop, but a friend gave me the name and it was so funny, that i decided to keep and use it. pofta buna is romanian and means guten Appetit, bon appétit, smakelijk etc. i choosed this, cause i want to write about food a lot. i like to try different styles of food from all over the world and i want to share my impressions with you.

what you can see on the picture is a specialty of the aera around the river rhein. it's called "himmel und äd" what means sky and earth. the ingredients are crushed apples wich stand for "himmel/sky", than we have mashed potatos wich stand for "äd/earth", beside there is something like blood pudding with roasted onions on top. we call it blutwurst. believe me, whenever you come to düsseldorf or somewhere in its surrounding: try it.
